Disruption On The South Western Main Line This Evening

To those travelling on The South Western Main Line tonight do be advised there is a flood at Sway (located approximately 15 miles east of Bournemouth Station) and as a result is seeing delays between 15-45 minutes in both directions, delays will likely continue until the end of the day, I will update this post with more updates as we progress.

UPDATE 1 - 18/12/2025, 16:21:

The branch line connecting Salisbury - Southampton has now been flooded, many services have been delayed and in a number of cases cancelled, and that should be expected to continue until tommorow morning. 

UPDATE 2 - 18/12/2025, 16:46:

A tree has fallen in between Woking & Farnborough, causing major disruption & cancellations across that section of the South Western Main Line, and what appears to be a near collision with Class 47 47727 'Edinburgh Castle' while operating 0Z84 Wimbledon Park Depot Sidings - Eastleigh East Yard.

Photos Have Been Released Of The Flood At Near Dean - All Services Running This Way Have Been Cancelled.
