Tyne & Wear Metro Withdraw Class 599s After 46 Years

Earlier today, Tyne & Wear Metro ran their final Class 599 services, these units have ran since 1980 despite being built as early as 1976 and were introduced as the first trains to the Metro Network, they are now being replaced by newer Class 555 units.

The final service departed Airport at 12:35PM, and then furthermore arrived into Regent Centre at 17:35PM, the units were 4024 & 4050.
