'Hagley Hall' Reverses Into Shed On The SVR

Reports are flooding in of a collision which took place last night on the Severn Valley Railway, this involved GWR Hall Class 4930 'Hagley Hall', which only returned to rails 3 years ago. The damage caused to the locomotive was extensive, a full list is added:

• Tender Frames Bent
• Tender Tank Damaged
• Collapsed Brick Arch Inside The Fire Box
• Multiple Broken Boiler Stays
• Damage to a buffer stop, a workbench and crane.

A further report detailing repair costs, a locomotive return ETA, and other details is yet to be determined.
